Next Generation of Social Networking

Rock You, Appfuels, SocializrSocial Networking 1.0 was about uploading photos, inviting friends, and posting to user groups. Users had to work within the set framework and the network monetized the traffic of the aggregated users.

MySpace took it a step further and introduced customization of pages. Facebook has taken it yet another step further and enabled users to monetize their traffic. New features get added daily on all the networks such as feed aggregation, IM, data export, and mobile integration.

What will the next generation of social networks be like? Will they embrace total openness, identity, and enable user aggregation without lock-in? Will they be the new platforms for commerce?

Come hear from our panel of experts. Social Media Group discussions.
