The WebGuild Web 2.0 Website Awards is open. The Awards recognize innovation and
industry leadership in the web industry.
The eligible categories for submission are as follows:
• Coolest Widget Ever
• Best Web 2.0 Design & UX
• Best Social Networking Community
• Most Promising Web 2.0 Startup
Terms & Conditions
Entry is open to all Web 2.0 websites.
There is no cost for participation.
The winners will be decided on by a panel of judges comprised of industry professionals and nominations
received for each Web 2.0 website. Web 2.0 websites are encouraged to have their users vote for
their favorite Web 2.0 website. One vote per user please.

The WebGuild assumes all entries are original and the entrant either owns the work or has permission from a
client or other appropriate party to enter the work, with all rights granted therein. In the event that an
entrant without such rights submits an entry, the entrant will not be eligible for the competition. The
WebGuild is not liable for any copyright infringement on the part of the entrant.
Entries must be live, functioning, and available on the Internet from the date of entry through November 15, 2007, and
accessible via standard web browsers and outside of a firewall.
When submitting a site, please provide the name of the company, category, website url, and a short blurb about
the site. Also, include a contact name and valid email address.
Submission of any entry acknowledges the right of the WebGuild to use it for exhibition, promotion, and
publication purposes in any medium.
The WebGuild reserves the right to remove and disqualify ineligible entries at any phase of the competition

The websites will be evaluated based on five criteria: content, authority, navigation, design, accessibility.
The winners in their respective categories will be announced at the WebGuild Web 2.0 Conference & Expo. You must be present to win.
The deadline for submitting a site for the awards is Friday, January 11, 2008.
Can I withdraw my entry?
You may withdraw your entry by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
How will I know my entry was received?
You will see your entry listed on the Web 2.0 Sites page.
How can I change my entry?
The following information can be changed on an entry at any time by contacting the WebGuild at email@example.com:
- Contact info.
- URL. The URL can be changed only if it is the same site that was nominated or if it has not yet been reviewed.
- Category entered. An entrant will be granted a category change if the site has not yet been reviewed.
Do you have to be based in the United States to participate?
Can I enter more than one category?
Yes, you can enter your website in more than one of the defined categories.
