Topic:
E-Biz Empire Strikes Back: Part I
Abstract:
Many of us continue to believe that e-business will be the backbone of the 21st-century economy.
But we must ask ourselves some hard questions about why the Internet e-business bubble burst.
What are the lessons we as a community must learn while we plan to fulfill the promises the E-Biz
Empire have made? During our November, December and February meetings we offer some
thoughts and dissect the critical technological breakthroughs.
In Part I, our panelists assert that future E-Biz must be run along more rational lines, and be well
integrated with successful business models. Future E-Biz must bring and sustain value from
established, fundamental business metrics and be able to withstand all international ethical and
legal challenges.
