About the presenter

Your workshop leader is Jorden Woods, a Silicon Valley serial entrepreneur. Jorden has co-founded and lead two enterprise software companies. Most recently he was CEO/CTO/co-founder of Omniscape Corporation, a provider of secure networking infrastructure for the media industry. Prior to Omniscape, Jorden co-founded GlobalSight Corporation, a leading provider of globalization management systems (GMS).

Under his CEO leadership Jorden grew Globalsight from 3 people to 75. He built and managed a world-class senior management team generating revenues of over $1.5 million in the first two years of operation. He also spearheaded GlobalSight’s global expansion, launching and overseeing the company’s European operations. During his tenure GlobalSight was rated as one of the “Top 50 Private Companies in the World” by both the Red Herring and Upside Magazines and raised over $48 million in investment from the venture capital community. Furthermore, GlobalSight’s flagship product received Computing Magazine’s coveted ‘Best eBusiness Application of the Year’.

Jorden has over 15 years of technology experience. He holds a bachelor’s degree in astrophysics from Caltech and a master’s degree in physics from University of Washington. Beyond his native English, Jorden has a high proficiency in Chinese and a basic understanding of Korean and French.
