The Next Wave of the Internet: Will the Tide Rise Again?
Download PowerPoint presentation

Will the Next Big Thing be the reengineering of old things to work more effectively? Or will it be something entirely new? Will it drive us out of the doldrums and bring us into prosperity again? What will it look like and when will it happen?

The speakers for this event believe that the whole set of technologies, old and new, around the Internet has the potential to coalesce into a more powerful platform. This in turn can drive more compelling consumer content and business application integration. Such newly created value for businesses and consumers could provide a new upswing in demand. At the same time, they believe that the challenges are great: from new technologies and standards, new creative business models, to overcoming legal and regulatory hurdles. They also argue that this Next Wave will look fundamentally different from the last.

John Soper, Managing Director of New Paradigms Marketing Group, will address the framework of the business drivers and challenges that we will be facing. Charlie Isaacs, CTO of Broad Daylight, will address the technology side of this framework. Both will engage in what we plan to be a lively and broad-ranging discussion.
