Traveling Geeks Blog Israel

By Joseph Hunkins at April 20, 2008 0 Comments

What do you get when you take a bunch of Silicon Valley Bloggers and cut them loose in Israel to report on innovative technology, people, and places? The Traveling Geeks. This merry band of bloggers has begun an innovative project to blog from different parts of the world on items of interest to the tech (and the broader) community.

I really love this idea and think this approach lies at the heart of what makes the “new” internet so exciting and so full of human potential. We can become lost with too narrow a focus on business applications and innovations, failing to recognize that ultimately the key potential of the online world is the power to connect people and places in ways they have never been connected before. The traveling geeks are reaching out to more fully realize the full potential of an online lifestyle. More power to them!

Who are these geeks, anyway?
Renee Blodgett
Cathy Brooks
Craig Newmark
Deborah Schultz
Ishmael Khaldi
JD Lasica
Jeff Saperstein
Robert Scoble
Sarah Lacy
Susan Mernit
