 Michael DeBellis VP ThoughtWorks, Inc. Michael DeBellis is a Vice President and Managing Director for the Western Region for ThoughtWorks. ThoughtWorks is the largest System Integrator firm to use Agile methods as their preferred development approach. Prior to ThoughtWorks, Mr. DeBellis was a partner and eBusiness Chief Technology Officer for Deloitte Consulting and a technical manager and scientist at Accenture. He has published extensively on topics such as Rapid Application Development techniques and tools, object-oriented development, and artificial intelligence.

Mark Striebeck Engineering Director, VA Software. Mark Striebeck is the Director of SourceForge Engineering for VA Software. VA Software is the provider of SourceForge Enterprise Edition, the award–winning enterprise software that helps companies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of globally distributed application development teams. Under his direction, VA Software adopted XP for all software development activities. Prior to VA Software, Mr. Striebeck worked for Cambridge Technology Partners as project manager on a variety of fixed-time, fixed-price projects. He
worked in a variety of technical positions since 1989. Mr. Striebeck holds two Masters degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics.

He has trained, coached, and mentored developers and customers to help them succeed using object-oriented technologies, facilitated implementation of agile processes, provided analysis, architecture, design expertise, testing, and defect tracking for companies large and small. He has given talks and presentations around the world on XP, development processes, software testing and object-oriented development.
