When I originally wrote this post: Google CEO Served An Earful by Steve Jobs, my source told me that Eric Schmidt was literally shitting in his pants when Steve Jobs was talking to him. I received many emails saying that it was not true. That as a man Schmidt would not take that from another man. Well now we know what Jobs told Schmidt. And he was taking it. Its an excerpt from Walter Isaacson’s biography of the Apple co-founder title “Steve Jobs”, to be published Monday.
“I will spend my last dying breath if I need to, and I will spend every penny of Apple’s $40 billion in the bank, to right this wrong,” Jobs said. “I’m going to destroy Android, because it’s a stolen product. I’m willing to go thermonuclear war on this.”
“I don’t want your money. If you offer me $5 billion, I won’t want it. I’ve got plenty of money. I want you to stop using our ideas in Android, that’s all I want.”
Rest assured Steve, your wish is my command. Android will be destroyed as will be Google without fail.

Is it just me, or is all of this reminiscent of Xerox v Apple v Microsoft?
