OpenTable, the restaurant reservation website, has launch Groupon type deals with a startup called Savored. The deals will offer up to 30 percent off at participating high-end restaurants for reservations made through OpenTable.

OpenTable, offers diners an easy way to make restaurant reservations. However, it has been less successful adopting the social features like reviews and now daily deals.

Savored, provides a way for OpenTable to jump into the daily deals. Starting Monday in San Francisco — and coming in September to the other nine major cities where Savored operates — diners using OpenTable will see restaurants offering a 30 percent discount. When they make a reservation, they do not need a coupon or a code. The discount will be automatically applied at the end of their meal.

However one thing remains unclear. Presently diners using Savored pay $10 for the reservation and the coupon. It not clear if diners using OpenTable are charged the $10 fee.
