In a report by Experian Hitwise, the firm found that Bing is out-performing Google in serving up what users want. Bing is reportedly giving users more useful and relevant search results which result in users visiting a website. Users are experiencing more value and usability in the Bing search engine which are driving the higher performance. The report found that with Bing more than 81 percent of searches executed resulted in a visit to a Website whereas, Google achieved a success rate of only 65 percent. “The share of unsuccessful searches highlights the opportunity for both the search engines and marketers to evaluate the search engine result pages to ensure that searchers are finding relevant information.”
Additionally, the Bing searches increase 21 percent in January 2011 but is still trailing Google.

Its hilarious to even think bing can beat google. Google has the whole internet where it wants it(in its palm).

Something like:
Altavista is the biggest search engine…no one can kill them! (it took Google 4 years)
MySpace is the biggest social network..they have so much users…no one can overtake them! (that took Facebook 3 years)
Nokia is the biggest phone company, they're so huge, they're lightyears ahead of the competition, no one can beat them (took Apple 3 years)
And…Google is NOT the internet…Facebook is a more likely candidate for that matter setting that almost everywhere you can login with your fb nowadays and the like button is omnipresent. Get your facts straight before you blindly comment.
Ow…morale: nothing lasts forever.
