iPhone Demand Crashes Verizon Website

Today is the first day you can pre-order an iPhone on Verizon.The demand has been so great that Verizon’s website has been down (the order page). Customers to the site were greeted with the message “Sorry, an error has occured”. Verizon had said that they were ready for the iPhone, I guess even they under estimated the demand.
