Silicon Valley Real Estate: Haves & Have-Nots

The Bay Area commercial real-estate market is creeping into a tepid and uneven recovery, as some towns surge ahead while others lag behind.

Office vacancy rates in the Bay Area overall dropped slightly below 17% during the third quarter of 2010, after hovering between 17.1% and 17.4% for the previous five quarters, according to Cassidy Turley BT Commercial.
