The man who stole the idea for Facebook plans to give most of the money he makes from it to charity. Wow isn’t that nice.
With this pledge, Mark Zuckerberg joins the ranks of Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Larry Ellison and 50 other REAL billionaires.
At this point I don’t know if this is real or another PR stunt to attach his name to the movers and shakers.
After all, it is only a pledge and he does not have to follow through on it. The 50 other real billionaires have pledged real money not monopoly money or money on paper.
Recently, Zuckerberg made a $100 million donation in Facebook stock to a Newark N.J. school timed with the release of the movie, “The Social Network”, which portrays Zuckerberg as a socially awkward egomaniac who stole the idea for his company from fellow students while he was an undergraduate at Harvard University.
Then he stopped by ”The Oprah Winfrey Show” to announce the donation of the $100 million to the public schools in Newark, N.J., and said he wanted to keep it anonymous.
I wonder what this latest stunt is about.Channels: donation, mark zuckerberg
