In an office tucked away in Malleswaram, a Bangalore suburb, Vishnu Bagri is drafting a document for a young technology start-up on transfer pricing — a global tax issue that firms with offices in multiple countries have to face.

As more early-stage internet companies seek business across geographies, they are forced to deal with issues such as cross-border taxation, transfer pricing and transaction taxes, which can be as difficult for an engineer as crafting an algorithm is to an accountant. More>>
