Bing & Ask.com Search Market Share Soar YoY

According the lastest Nielson stats, Bing’s search market share has risen 51% and Ask.com search market share has risen 24% in the U.S. over the past 12 months.

In terms of total U.S. market share Google still remained the top search engine with 64.2% market share. Followed by Yahoo! with 14.3% share of U.S. searches while MSN/Windows Live/Bing held a 13.6% share, Ask.com 2.1% and AOL 1.9%.

Yahoo!’s Month-over-Month search market share increased an impressive 4% while AOL’s dropped by 3%. AOL saw its Year- over-Year search market share drop by 38%.

Together these top three engines account for more than 9 out of 10 searches (92.1%).
