Investors Pour $815 Million Into China’s Online Video Market

Competition in the China online video industry is cut-throat, thanks to a proliferation of well-funded companies formed in the wake of YouTube Inc.’s success in the U.S. According to data from Shanghai advisory firm RedTech Advisors LLC, there are seven online video content providers in China that have raised a total of $815 million in venture capital.
