Fedex Website Crashes Due To iPhone Tracking

By Daya Baran at June 24, 2010 1 Comments    Share

Many anxious iPhone customers bombarded the FedEx website for delivery updates and in the process brought the website down. Hordes of Apple (AAPL) fans went to Fedex’s online tracking system to find the whereabouts of their iPhone only to be greeted with a message “Package deliveries are proceeding as normal, however tracking updates are temporarily being delayed. Please try back later.”

This morning this site was up and Apple fans were able to track their iPhone delivery. One tweeted, “My iPhone 4 is on a FedEx truck,” said one. “Drive fast, delivery man, drive fast.”
