How Different Groups Within A Company Use Social Media

By Daya Baran at October 13, 2008 2 Comments

Here are some ways different departments in a company can leverage specific social media tools to achieve their respective business goals. This chart identifies social media tools most appropriate for the task by department e.g. the marketing department might be interested in driving traffic and therefore, might find Digg, StumbleUpon, and YouTube more appropriate. Whereas, the HR department might be interested in connecting with new employees and might find Facebook and LinkedIn more appropriate. The tools you choose would depend on your business objectives and which tool is best suited to help you achieve it.
