Google Hijacked - “ǝlƃooƃ noʎ ʞɔnɟ”

By Daya Baran at July 14, 2008 3 Comments

fuck you googleGoogle has been hijacked for the second time in less than a week. First, the Swastika appeared on Google Trends as a top query and today it this statement “ǝlƃooƃ noʎ ʞɔnɟ” which appeared as the top queried search term on Google Trends. The statement is profanity being hurled at Google but flipped. The statement was originally discovered by Teoriza. A comment in Google Blogoscoped forums noted that a tool called Flip can be used to flip text easily. The statement has been taken down by Google saying that it was probably done by a lone disgruntled blogger. So a lone blogger is out smarting the thousands of so called “smart” people at Google. Who is smart now?

Like the folks at Google have nothing better to do than deal with infantile pranksters.
